Meet Denise (Nisi) & the Nisi & Lisi Team

I've dedicated my entire life to learning about dogs and how to communicate with them. I've been training professionally for 15 years and before that I mainly volunteered at shelters and trained as a hobby.

I have two professional certifications but my learning hasn't stopped there. I am constantly absorbing new information to meet the goals of my clients while getting a wider understanding of why dogs do the things they do. I have lofty goals for my own success and I am the biggest cheerleader for my clients and their dogs.

Is your dog particularly challenging or embarrassing? That's okay! I've seen IT ALL and I'm rarely surprised. And guess what? I love even the naughtiest of dogs. Getting you on the right track in your training and getting you and your dog aligned is my job and I take it seriously.

Here at Board & Train School (my home!) the dogs enjoy a comfy life with my family, daily training on my 5 acre property and adventures until public to work on behaviour around real life distractions. With my trusty crew of 7 resident helper dogs ranging from Blue the 7lb Poodle to King Arthur the 130lb Caucasian Shepherd we work on social skills for puppies and awkward adults, assessing aggressive behavior in our reactive clients and generally just teaching our friends how to dog! Nothing like a little peer pressure :)
